Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva 2018 – Vina Marty

Pascal Marty has been the winemaker for Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A., he spent more than 14 years at that Bordeaux company’s chateaus; Mouton Rothschild, Clerc Milon, d’Armailhac and with Mouton Cadet. He helped create deluxe reds for two Rothschild joint ventures: Opus One, with Robert Mondavi in the Napa Valley, Almaviva and with Concha y Toro in Chile. Now is winemaker and CEO of Vina Marty and the  Mariposa Alegre Gran Reserva is one of his sons.
In the glass the colour is deep ruby red, the nose is complex with black fruit notes, cassis and the oak ageing gave the cloves and vanilla hints. Another stunning wine made by Pascal Marty.

On the palate the wine has a very fine structure. It is well balanced with fine, grainy tannins well integrated, providing the framework for the wine to develop for many years.

Sauvignon Blanc Goutte d’Argent 2018 – Vina Marty

Complex with a beautiful intensity of citrus fruits and white flowers, such as orange blossom. Notes of green spices with bakery and vanilla flavours. On the palate a floral Sauvignon Blanc with unique flavours. Dry wine with medium acidity, good balance and an elegant and creamy finish.

The succulent and fresh palate is rich with passion fruit, grapefruit, and gooseberry, with a subtle herbal thread and salty mineral notes leading to a long and zesty finish.
