Puglia is the heel of Italy. The region has a lot of different grapes. The very well known European grapes but also: Aleatico, Bombino Nero, Malvasia Nera, Negroamaro, Nero di Troia, Ottavianello, Primitivo, Susumaniello for the red grapes and Bombino Bianco, Bianco d’Alessano, Malvasia Bianca, Fiano, Moscato di Trani. You can find the wine made from these grapes in still or sparkling version and very various products. We like to split Puglia into three areas.

The Northern area, from Foggia to Bari with red, white, and sparkling wines. This includes three DOCG: Castel del Monte Bombino Nero, Castel del Monte Nero di Troia Riserva, Castel del Monte Rosso Riserva.

The Central area includes the Valle d’Itria, with a lot of indigenous grapes and more indicated for White Wines. Typical of the area is Fiano Minutolo, Verdeca in White version but also in Sparkling. You must enjoy a bottle of white wine at the seaside very close to the Valle d’Itria. You can ask us for some advice.

The South area from Brindisi to Santa Maria di Leuca, known as Salento, this area includes the Taranto area with powerful red wines as is the Primitivo di Manduria DOCG.
