Bolgheri DOC Agapanto 2020 – Podere Conca

The Agapanto, is an Agapanthus flower belonging to the Liliaceae family, originally hailing from South Africa. The name is derived from the ancient Greek words “agape” (love) and “anthos” (flower).
This wine is a captivating blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Ciliegiolo, aged for a year in a combination of French oak barrels and tonneaux. It displays a vibrant and intense red color, while exuding predominant red fruit notes on the nose, which follow through on the palate.
With its pleasing harmony, it pairs exquisitely with cold cuts, cheeses, and lightly flavoured red meats. Its velvety smoothness and well-balanced profile make it a delightful choice for any meal.

Trebbiano Maddalena 2019 – Villa Cosmiana

A historic white wine from the estate, which bears the name of the only female estate manager at the beginning of the 20th century and which is produced from Trebbiano grapes harvested from a 50 year old plus vineyard and directly vinified in oak barrels. It has a shiny straw yellow colour and displays spicy and delicate wood perfumes with citrus fruit and mirabelle flavours in the mouth.

A traditional Tuscan white wine, which bears the name of the hill upon which the estate extends, is produced from manually selected Trebbiano grapes and vinified in steel tanks. It shows a limpid pale-yellow colour, is fresh and crispy in the mouth with well-defined flavours of melon, cucumber and a touch of lemon.

Chianti DOCG Fattore Crelio 2019 – Villa Cosmiana

Villa Cosmiana’s Chianti is more refined and sophisticated than a traditional Chianti; it is produced from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes enriched by Merlot and Cabernet Franc and vinified in stainless tanks. It shows a deep glamorous grenat robe and is fresh and velvety in the mouth; it displays powerful crushed cherry perfumes and flavours with a touch of liquorice.

Sangiovese Tauleto 2015 – Umberto Cesari

Tauleto is a dialect term applied by local farmers to a plot with abundant water resources. The springs running under the Sangiovese in the Tauleto vineyard contribute to minimising water stress in the vines. To make Tauleto, Umberto Cesari recovered the Uva Longanesi, a nearly-forgotten native grape.
A red wine of superb structure and longevity made only in the finest growing years. 90% Sangiovese, 10% Uva Longanesi. The vineyards average 20 years old and yield 65 quintals per hectare. It matures 24 months in 225-litre new Allier oak barrels then ages in the bottle a further 6 months.
Intense ruby red with purple highlights. The bouquet is rich and complex, wild red berry, ripe black cherry, with nuances of rose petals and spice.
On the palate is elegant, with succulent, pulpy red fleshed fruit, pipe tobacco, and pencil lead. Tannins are noticeable, but supple. The finish is lengthy and intense.

Cà Grande wine takes is name from Ca Grande Estate, made by 100% Sangiovese di Romagna grapes. From 15 years old vineyard this Sangiovese Superiore is an harmonious dry wine with notes of fruits and hints of flowers.

Ornellaia Magnum 2001 – Tenuta dell’Ornellaia

65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. Grapes were harvested manually, sorted, destemmed and lightly crushed. Fermentation took place both in steel tanks and in large wooden vats at up to 30°C. After a post-fermentation maceration, the wine was placed in 70% new barriques, where the malolactic fermentation and ageing were completed. After 12 months, the final blend was created and the wine was aged for a further six months in barrels. Just before bottling, it was fined, then aged a year in bottle before release.
