Pinotage Breedekloof 2018 – Olifantsberg
£15.60
A pure expression of lovely cherry, wild strawberry and ripe raspberry aromas, with some great spicy and leather notes from the 10 month ageing in Frenck oak barrels. Refined tannins on the palate, bright and juicy.
Did you know: Pinotage is South Africa’s signature grape variety. It is a crossing of Pinot Noir and Cinsaut, was first bred by scientist Abraham Perold in 1925. The name Pinotage derives from its two parents, as Cinsaut was then known in South Africa as Hermitage.
