Malbec Gran Corte 2017 – Bodega Tukma
Intense ruby red color with violet edges. This fine wine is a blend of Malbec 60%, Cabernet Franc 20% and Tannat 10%. It offers notes of ripe red fruit and red bell pepper, complemented by subtle aromas of vanilla and toast from oak aging. With its great structure and intense yet mature tannins, it delivers a long and harmonious finish where the three varieties express themselves at their best.
Gran Corte is perfect for pairing with important dishes of red meat, game, and aged cheeses. Its warm character makes it an ideal choice for enjoying on its own during cold evenings. It truly embodies the essence of a fine wine experience.

Centuries ago, the Diaguitas referred to their chieftain as Tukma, and the territory under their influence as Tukmanao, which encompassed a large part of Northwestern Argentina. This way of addressing their leader inspired the name of the winery.
In the 15th century, the Incas occupied Tukmanao, bringing significant advancements to regional agriculture. Their knowledge and techniques were applied to vine cultivation, which was introduced from Europe in the late 18th century.
The philosophy of Bodega Tukma is to produce wines with their own identity while respecting the history and traditions of the region. They rely on unique terroirs that express the full potential of the area. Combined with the expertise and dedication of the men and women involved, these wines from high-altitude vineyards embody sophistication and authenticity.
Malbec is the flagship red grape variety of Argentina, known for producing bold and full-bodied wines. It is recognised for its deep, dark color and intense flavours. In the glass, Malbec displays a rich, ruby red hue. Aromas of ripe red and black fruits dominate the nose, accompanied by subtle floral and spicy notes. On the palate, it showcases flavours of berries and black pepper, supported by velvety tannins. With a balanced and elegant character, Malbec possesses a robust structure that allows for aging potential. Originated in France, it is celebrated for expressing the unique terroir of Argentina. It pairs exceptionally well with grilled and roasted meats, beef and savoury dishes. It also complements cured meats, smoked foods, and mature cheeses.
