Dom Perignon 2013 – Moet e Chandon
On the nose tropical fruit, mango, pineapple instantly shines. It then cedes to more temperate notes of orange zest and mandarin orange. A tactile sensation of jasmine and lilac. The wine immediately imposes its ample presence, full and aromatic. The body is generous, firm and controlled, letting the wine vibrate with spices and pepper. The energy is sustained to saline finish.
Dom Perignon is only available as vintage champagne and is only produced in exceptional years. Each vintage is a unique creation with the expression of the year. After spending at least 8years in their cellar the wine embodies the perfect balance of Dom Perignon, the Plentitude of harmony.
Vin de la Neu 2020 – Nicola Biasi
The 2020 vintage is incredibly captivating. It reveals a blend of floral and fruity notes reminiscent of magnolia blossoms, gardenias, chamomile flowers, white peaches, crushed almonds, and rose petals. Additional nuances of thyme and white pepper define the secondary profile. It’s sweet at its core, perhaps the sweetest vintage on the nose ever. Full-bodied, with a distinctly linear and vibrant savoury structure, and a juicy, bold finish that relies on precision and the length of the aftertaste as its main strengths. Sassicaia 2018 – Tenuta San Guido
This epochal Tuscan red has beguiling aromas of wild red berry, menthol and tobacco that mingle with fragrant flowers. Made with 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, the focused, elegantly structured palate is vibrant and savoury, delivering cassis, orange zest, liquorice and a hint of coffee with elegant and polished tannins. Bright acidity keeps it energised and balanced.
