Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2004 – Biondi Santi

This Riserva is a delicate exercise of grace, with structure, fruit and acidity dancing harmoniously on a thin line, suspended in time.
It’s intensely flavoured with sour cherries and violets on the forefront, followed by hints of oriental spices, tar, liquorice and, in the end, flint. On the palate it is precise and expressive, showing class and energy in a tasting experience which goes on and on, ending on a deliciously savoury note.

Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2006 – Biondi Santi

With a bright ruby red colour this Riserva cleverly combines its impressive structure, characteristic of the 2006 vintage, and the lively acidity typical of Biondi-Santi, in a wine with great finesse and depth. The fruity notes are still fresh and well developed, underlined by balsamic hints and light floral sensations reminiscent of the vineyard in spring. It’s well-balanced on the palate, sphere-shaped, soft and enveloping, leading us to a long-lingering, elegant and mineral aftertaste.
