Ca’ Rugate

For over a century, Ca’ Rugate has defined the identity of Soave Classico, Valpolicella, and Lessini Durello, blending tradition with innovation. Now in its fourth generation, the Tessari family continues to uphold a winemaking philosophy rooted in authenticity and sustainability.

This journey began in the early 1900s when Amedeo Tessari recognised the exceptional potential of his land. Over time, the winery has evolved into an internationally acclaimed estate, always staying deeply connected to its roots. Today, with 90 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards, Ca’ Rugate follows a minimal intervention philosophy. This approach ensures that each vintage preserves the unique character of its terroir.

Sustainability remains at the core of Ca’ Rugate’s vision. Since 2004, the vineyards have been managed with environmentally friendly methods, replacing chemical fertilisers with organic soil enrichment techniques. The goal is simple: to maintain the purity of the grapes, allowing each wine to express its origin without artificial enhancements. This dedication to excellence guarantees that every bottle embodies nature, tradition, and the artistry of winemaking.
