Barbera d’Asti DOCG Vigne Vecchie 50 – Vinchio Vaglio

£18.80

The Vigne Vecchie 50 made its debut in 2009 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Vinchio Vaglio winery. Aged in stainless steel to create a fresh, vibrant, and extremely drinkable wine, it was crafted specifically for this milestone celebration. The wine boasts a ruby-red color with violet reflections, a fruity aroma with notes of ripe fruit, and a dry, savoury palate. A wine truly worthy of its name.
Perfectly pairs with pasta dishes featuring meat or mushroom sauces, red and white meats, and a wide variety of cheeses, including fresh, aged, and blue-veined. For traditional Piedmontese cuisine, we recommend pairing it with Bagna Cauda, a warm anchovy and garlic sauce served with seasonal cooked and raw vegetables.
