An authentic wine from one of the best sites in the Classic area of Soave. Volcanic soils and 50 year old Garganega vines, planted on south-east facing slopes. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, Il Gigante offers one of the best expressions of Soave. Ripe stone fruit and floral aromas on the nose, with great acidity, structure and minerality on the palate, thanks to the special terroir of this region

Cantina Martinelli owns a small Gargaenga vineyard, defined as Cru, in Caucciolo; between Fittà and Castelcerino.
The 1.2ha vineyard is in the Soave Classico area 300mt above sea level. Near a woodland Franesco makes his wines in full respect of biodiversity and also with a strictly organic and biodynamic policy.
Il Gigante and Pantagruele are naturally fermented showing all the full potential of the Garganega grape variety.
