Langhe Nebbiolo DOC Arenos 2018 – Poderi Cellario
£18.00
A very elegant wine with rose scent, vanilla and peppery notes. On the palate, the tannins are well balanced and flavours are persistent. Aged 12 months in Slovenian oak and a further 6 months in bottle.
Did you know: Nebbiolo is considered Italy’s greatest native grape variety. Nebbiolo wines are extremely ageworthy and some of the top quality red wines in the world.

poderi cellario
Fausto and Cinzia Cellario are 3rd generation winemakers in the village of Carrù on the western outskirts of the Langhe. The family believes in only working with local, indigenous Piemontese grape varieties and fiercely defends local winemaking traditions both in the vineyard work and the cellar practices. The Poderi Cellario vineyard cover some 30 ha between 5 different vineyard sites covering the southern Langhe. Vineyard work is organic (soon to be certified) and all the fermentation take place with indigenous yeasts. Sulphur is only added in tiny quantities at bottling if necessary (a practice not common with a winery in this mid-size range).
