The Agapanto, is an Agapanthus flower belonging to the Liliaceae family, originally hailing from South Africa. The name is derived from the ancient Greek words “agape” (love) and “anthos” (flower).
This wine is a captivating blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Ciliegiolo, aged for a year in a combination of French oak barrels and tonneaux. It displays a vibrant and intense red color, while exuding predominant red fruit notes on the nose, which follow through on the palate.
With its pleasing harmony, it pairs exquisitely with cold cuts, cheeses, and lightly flavoured red meats. Its velvety smoothness and well-balanced profile make it a delightful choice for any meal.
